William “MrBill” Powers, Realtor®, CBR, has enjoyed life with his family on Long Island for four generations and has been an investor in real estate since 1984. As a CBR, Certified Buyer Representative, Bill believes in offering the best possible transaction for each client and built the Long Island Real Estate Today Team to do just that.
Bill grew up in North Massapequa and graduated from Farmingdale High School. One of six children in a blue-collar family, he learned to work with his hands from his father and eventually went into business for himself, first owning a Wrought-Iron Custom Fabrication Shop then gravitating back to the family business by owning his own Plumbing, Heating and General Contracting Company. He specialized in the areas of residential re-design and remodeling and over the years has successfully restored many dilapidated homes to the beautiful, comfortable living spaces they were meant to be. He has since transformed his love of building beautiful homes to a love of finding people the homes of their dreams.
Applying his lifetime of housing experience, as a REALTOR®, Bill knows a well-built and maintained home when he sees one. He has learned a great deal since 1984 in negotiating both the buyer’s and seller’s sides of the real estate business from his personal experience as a property manager and ‘flipper.’ The first-time home-buyer can trust Bill to draw on his remodeling experience to guide them toward a sound purchase and home that they will enjoy for years to come. Bill’s real estate investing expertise enables him to negotiate the best price possible for his buyer clients.
